It is booked as "The Best Little Poolroom in the South". The year it opened it was ranked eleventh for architecture and design by Billiard Digest among all new poolrooms in the nation. Quite a feat, since the top ten as well as the ones ranked below it were all $million dollar plus rooms! World champions and other top ranked professionals have played and performed there, some invited, some just stopped in. It was voted "The Best" by the Starkville Daily News readership poll.

What actually makes it the "best" is not the fact that it has the best equipment made, but rather the customers and attendants, and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
